Employer Programs

If your employer has an employee giving program or sponsors United Way, making a gift to DAWN has never been easier:

  • Look for Domestic Abuse Women’s Network in your company’s listing of charities (for King County employees, the KCEGP number for Neighborcare is 9238).
  • Talk to your HR department about how you can give to DAWN through payroll deductions.
  • Write Domestic Abuse Women’s Network in the United Way donor option space.

Increase the value of your gift through your employer’s matching gift program – ask your HR department if your company matches gifts. Companies match an employee’s gift to a charity, often on a one-to-one basis. Some companies even match donations two-to-one or three-to-one! This means your gift can be worth significantly more than what you donate.

How to Take Advantage:

  • Learn the Rules: Understand your company’s guidelines. Some have preferred charities, while others allow any nonprofit. Also, inquire about volunteering opportunities.
  • Make Your Donation: Choose a charity within the guidelines and keep proof of your gift.
  • Submit the Match: Provide the necessary materials to your HR department or Corporate Social Responsibility team.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to amplify your charitable impact!
