Purple Light Nights Covington Kickoff Walk and Tree Lighting

Covington Rotary Club is hosting the 20th Annual Purple Light Nights Kickoff Walk starting at Fred Meyer in Covington at 6 PM. DAWN team members will be there with information about domestic violence and signs of coercive control, which is a predictor of abuse.

At 7:15 there will be remarks from local leadership, and the Tree Lighting will be at 7:30 PM.

This event will have a memorial booth to honor Jodi Cathcart, a woman who was murdered by her husband at their home in Covington on May 1st of this year, leaving behind three children. She was also the Executive Director of Foster Champs of WA.

There is no registration link. The event is open to all.
